Understanding the State of Life

Every human faces good and hard times, most humans questioin why I'm not remaining only in Good times i.e. TOTAL HAPPY LIFE, why the life keeps fluctuating? these questions rises in every human's mind! so I'm a human just like you, I would like to share some experience how God has solved this problem with me in both ways i.e. good ways and hard ways.

When I was doing my college studies , my parents were providing me meals, shelter and pocket-money; at this moment of life journey ( 15 to 24) I too didn't understand why God has made some poor, sick, weak, disables and the list continues... as usual I too got this question in my mind, why this Life cannot be"Total Peace" in all humans?, with God everything is possible, so why God let this happen if he is truly merciful God?; but back of my mind I knew God doesn't do anything without a reason. I remembered a scholar (Yousuf Mufthi) said in his sermon "ask whatever you want from God, he will respond to you, and be patient" so I decided to pray to God and solve this problem, I prayed to God " Ya Allah, you know what is my mind, i don't know the answer for this Question which is in my mind, fulfill this question by giving me a perfect Answer" and i didn't just sit and wait, as our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "Tie your camel and Trust in Allah" which means, if you want something, you need to TRY to get it. so there came the Google,  I did some studies related to my questions, there were many scholars who gave convincing answers, so I thanked God for giving me the answer.

Instant Lesson by God - My friend and Shoes

Yesterday was a half working day (Saturday), we had a tough time with our boss and somehow accomplished the given task. Finished my Luhar prayer at office, the time is 1:00pm, It's time to go home, one of my colleagues (also my friend) joined me while I was leaving.

As we left together, I asked my friend, 'the weather is so nice, cool and windy, let's go for a walk?' my friend said 'All right, I too love walking' we both were walking along the Duplication road, Kollupity, where  I suddenly came out with an idea to have our lunch out since my tummy started making noises. So we changed our direction of walking towards a food restaurant Acropol which is front of Liberty Plaza (A Shopping mall), their prawn fried rice and chilli paste are my favourites.

 As we got closer I asked my friend, 'did you pray?' he said 'Oh... I just forgot it. thanks for reminding me' so we walked towards the mosque which is just 3 minutes away from the restaurant.

A Conversation with LTTE Well Wisher

I don't know who this Guy is, suddenly a chat pop-out on facebook, I normally don't chat with unknown people, but I did chat with him because I had free time and his profile said he is from neighbouring country Tamil Nadu, India.

Suddenly he asked me a Question which I never expected.... I thought of posting this conversation on my blog to show how these people in Tamil Nadu are been brainwashed by the Media and Politicians.

This guy doesn't even know why he is fighting, and certainly I didn't understand for what reason. this guy is trying to be a hero for nothing, at least he could try something like comedian role in Kollywood rather shedding crocodile tears.

In general Tamil nadu people should realize that... those who shout loud in the background are just a bunch of cowards, they even don't care for you, why would they care for Sri Lankans? trust me....what you see in Media and Politicians' political gimmicks are just to make Business and Political gain.

Here is the conversation...

What does 'freedom' mean?

What does 'freedom' mean?

An anonymous beautiful poem found in the internet, Sharing with you guys :-)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Does the eagle want to swim in the sea,
Restricted by the sky?
Does the fish want to dance on the wind,
Not enough river to explore?
Yet the sky is freedom for the bird
but death for the fish,
The sea is wide for the fish
but will engulf the bird.
We ask for freedom but freedom to do what?
We can only express our nature as it was created.
The prayer mat of the earth is freedom,
freedom from slavery to other than the One,
Who offers an shoreless ocean of love to swim in
and a horizon that extends to the next life,
Yet we chose the prison and call it freedom.
Welcoming both seated and standing passengers on board of Air India we apologize for the four-day delay in taking off, (You don't know how difficult it is, to fly an airplane now-a-days) it was due to bad weather and some overtime I had to put in at the bakery.
This is flight 717 to Mumbai. Landing there is not guaranteed, but we will end up somewhere in India. And, if luck is in our favor, we may even be landing on your village!
A bad day with a Squirrel
Today is my terrible day :'(  , There is a squirrel nest built inside our electricity meter box,  today we heard a baby squirrel shouting, my mother and i rushed to see what happened, we saw a baby squirrel running here and there searching for its mother in our garage. My mother said to me catch it before a crow or a cat eat it, but i said hold on let's look for its mother and i looked at the surroundings but there was no sign of its mother, so i decided to catch the baby, as I went near to catch it... almost caught it, but the baby squirrel somehow managed to run between my legs and it ran to the roads, there was a lorry parked outside and beneath there was a cat, unfortunately the baby squirrel ran straight under the lorry and the cat saw it :-( and we were helpless, the cat was too fast and quick to catch the baby squirrel and ran away. Sometimes we need to accept the destiny even if we don't like it.
Which is BEST in forgiveness?
There was a lecture program at Kollupity Jumma Mosque on the topic "Forgiveness" it was an excellent lecture by the young Ulama (Sorry I can't remember the scholar's name)
As the lecture was over, I approached him to ask a question which came into my mind during his lecture. I asked him..
Sheikh...Which is best? to forgive people or to ask forgiveness from the people, he came close to me, almost like hugging me and said: both are invaluable, but asking for forgiveness shows how humble you are and if a person refuses to forgive, you are going to feel terrible for it, there you learn to forgive people, if  someone asks for forgiveness from you, you will never let him go broken heart. likewise Allah never let his servants go broken hearted after sincere repentance.
I learned a great lesson :-) this Quranic verse speaks all about it.
"A kind and courteous word and forgiveness is (much) better than the charity, that is followed by (such an emotional) abuse. Allah is free of all wants, and the most Forbearing." [Quran 2:263]
Eid Mubarak - 2012
Yesterday (18th August) after breaking fast, everyone were looking for the sight of the new crescent of the month of Shawwal, technology helped us via SMS, emails, Facebook, Twitter, and calls; everybody were inquiring about the new crescent, the crescent has to be sighted with your bare eyes. it makes us more curious... around 8:45 pm I received a SMS by the All Ceylon Jammiyathul Ulama (the official body for crescent sighting) that the new moon for Shawwal has been sighted. my phone started pouring with wishes via SMS and calls saying EID MUBARAK :-)
It's a special day, after one month of fasting, we celebrate our festival, it gives us more joy and happiness. it's our sacrifice of body and soul to obey Allah's commandments. truly it's a gift of Allah for his servants. it's a day where the boss gives the wages for his servants. The Beauty of Patience
I read this story from one of the forwarded emails, sharing  with a sweet lesson on patience.
A New York City taxi driver wrote:
I arrived at the address and honked the horn. After waiting a few minutes I honked again. Since this was going to be my last ride of my shift I thought about just driving away, but instead I put the car in park and walked up to the door and knocked.. 'Just a minute', answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor.
The Golden Tortoise Beetle
Golden tortoise beetles are common North American beetles that can be found on morning glory leaves, which are their preferred food. They can change color, looking initially like tiny jewels, or golden ladybugs, but can alter the reflectivity of the cuticle so the outer layers become clear, revealing a ladybug type of red coloring with black spots. This color change is accomplished by microscopic valves controlling the moisture levels under the shell. Various populations of this beetle also have black markings obscuring the underlying colors to various degrees, and it is this variation in appearance that has led to the use of multiple names for this species.
I am because we are
An anthropologist proposed a game to African tribe kids. He put a basket full of fruit near a tree and told them that whoever got there first won the sweet fruits. When he told them to run they all took each others hands and ran together, then sat together enjoying their treats. When he asked them why they had run like that as one could have had all the fruits for himself they said: UBUNTU, how can one of us be happy if all the other ones are sad?
UBUNTU in the Xhosa culture means: "I am because we are"
How women are been used and abused in Ads
A boy having many girlfriends is considered as fashion in modern days, and Huawei Mobiles has found a way to solve the problems of how to handle these girls at a time when there is a "girls’ traffic jam" in your mobile.
I found this advertisement on Sunday Times, 08/04/2012, on HitAD magazine, I was shocked to see that ad, first attention words says "CHANCE TO LOVE 3 GIRLS AT ONCE" but the reality of that ad is about triple sim technology but I was upset to see how marketing managers mind sect has been corrupted,
It is a fact that I'm a Muslim, and Islam teaches me to respect women and not to play with them vulgarly nor use and abuse them in order to sell products.
I wonder; what if their (Marketing managers) own daughters' mobile number is added in one of those mobiles!
Check this ad.
Girl 1: Baby r u there?
Girl 2: At wht time we meet???
Girl 3: Happy b'day My darling... Mwaaah....
One boy can reply to all these girls from one mobile, is the technology helping to develop the community's good ethics or it is used to degrade women.
Women are not toys but they are humans, Business Marketing strategies has gone so bad where women are considered as one of marketing tools, women are paid to remove their cloths and show more skin to attract opposite sex, women are been brain washed to believe that by doing this actions that they are civilized and they are women of freedom!
My message to girls: Don't be fooled over commercial ads, and don't cheapen yourself in community by selling your body for few rupees or dollars.
Blood Group Match Chart, Blood type, Blood receivers (Blood Donation)
We studied this chart in schools, I don't remember this chart, but it is bad to forget it, sharing with you guys!
Bookmark it!!!
Health benefits of donating blood
Reduce the chance of heart diseases
It has been observed that increase in blood iron level increases the chance of heart disease. Iron is involved in the oxidation of cholesterol and this process is believed to be detrimental for the arteries. Increases blood iron level favors this process of cholesterol oxidation and thus leads to heart disease.1 Regular blood donation helps especially males in loosing iron on regular basis. It helps in reducing the chance of heart attack to one third.2
Enhance the production of new Red Blood Cells
As the blood is withdrawn from the donors body there is decrease inblood cells. To replenish it, immediately new cells are produced by marrow andthis way blood gets refreshed. Therefore donating blood helps in stimulating generationof new blood cells.3
Helps in fighting hemochromitosis
Hemochromitosis is a genetic disorder; also know as iron overload disorder wherein iron accumulates in the body tissue because or improper iron metabolism. This condition may lead to organ damage.3 Though this problem is uncommon in Indians4, people with little iron overload also can easily donation blood and reduce their iron content. Taking example from other countries, one in every 300-400 people in England suffers from this disorder and American Red Cross blood services accept such donors as safe donor as it’s a genetic disorder, it won’t be harmful to the person receiving blood from such donors.3
Burns calories
One can diet or remain fit by donating blood regularly. One pint of blood (450 ml) when donated burns 650 calories in donor’s body. 3, 5
Invigorated feeling in elderly people
It has been mentioned in various sites though not proved that elderly people in good health have reported feeling invigorated or reenergized by giving blood on a regular basis.6
Basic blood test is done
Apart from all these benefits a donor gets a mini blood test done before donating blood. This includes Hematocrit i.e. HB level test, Blood pressure is measured, body weight is checked. After the blood is collected it tested for 5 major diseases. Those are Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis and malaria. Donor is immediately informed if any of these test found to be positive.
Cool Marriage Jokes
I enjoyed the following jokes of marriage, hope you too will enjoy it, sharing with you :-)
Getting married is very much like going to a restaurant with friends.
You order what you want then, when you see what the other person has, you wish you had ordered that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Man: Is there any way for long life?
Dr: Get married.
Man: Will it help?
Dr: No, but the thought of long life will never come.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why do couples hold hands during their wedding?
It's a formality just like two boxers shaking hands before the fight begins!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wife: Darling today is our anniversary, what should we do?
Husband: Let us stand in silence for 2 minutes.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's funny when people discuss Love Marriage vs Arranged.
It's like asking someone, if suicide is better or being murdered.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is difficult to understand GOD. He makes such beautiful things as women and then he turns them into Wives.
Arranged Marriage & Love Marriage
This is a comedy story, but sometimes you find this as reality in some situation
The Indian man said to the American," You know my parents are forcing me to get married to this so called homely girl from a village whom I haven't even met once. We call this arranged marriage. I don't want to marry a woman whom I don't love...I told them that openly and now have a hell lot of family problems."
The American said, "Talking about love
Marriages...I'll tell you my story. I married a widow whom I deeply loved and dated for 3 years.
"After a couple of years, my father fell in love with my step-daughter and so my father became my son-in-law and I became my father's father-in-law.
My daughter is my mother and my wife my grandmother.
More problems occurred when I had a son. My son is my father's brother and so he my uncle. Situations turned worse when my father had a son. Now my father's son i.e. my brother is my grandson.
Ultimately, I have become my own grand father and I am my own grandson.
And you say you have family problems... Gimme a break!!"
Important information - L.P.G. (Liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders
Please communicate this information to your family and friends.
Have U ever heard about LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas) cylinder's expiry date....??
Do you know that there is an expiry date (physical life) for LPG cylinders? Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents. In this regard, please be cautious at the time of accepting any LPG cylinder from the vendor.
Here is how we can check the expiry of LPG cylinders:
On one of three side stems of the cylinder, the expiry date is coded alpha numerically as follows A or B or C or D and some two digit number following this e.g. D06.
The alphabets stand for quarters -
1. A for March (First Qtr),
2. B for June (Second Qtr),
3. C for Sept (Third Qtr),
4. D for December (Fourth Qtr).
The digits stand for the year till it is valid. Hence D06 would mean December qtr of 2006.
Please Return Back the Cylinder that you get with a Expiry Date, they are prone to Leak and other Hazardous accidents ...
Expiry Date: December of 2006
 The second example with D13 allows the cylinder to be in use until Dec 2013 .
Expiry Date: December of 2013
Kindly pass this to every one,
and create awareness among the public
My Friend with a Big Body and with a Big Heart
Maalik, our new graphic designer, he is a rugger ride, 110 Kg in weight and 6 foot tall, I call him 0.1 tone container, LOL... and he is a new colleague and a friend of mine.
There was an exhibition HALAL EXPO was scheduled to start on 19th feb, and 20th feb at Galadari, I was with my friend Maalik at canteen  having our lunch at office, I said to Maalik "Shall we go to this Exhibition on Sunday?" he said "Why not, we both can go together and I will pick you up on my way" I said to him " Insha'alllah, All right, DONE!"
Next day morning I bought the Sunday newspapers and did some Internet browsing... the day was boring... I remembered Maalik who planned with me to go to Halal Expo exhibition, but I didn't  get a call from him...I thought of putting him a reminder but my nephew Isa came while I was about to call...I forgot to call Maalik as I started playing with him...
Time passed and suddenly around 3 O'clock I got a call from one my friends, Riza, He asked "I'm on my way to exhibition, are you coming?" I thought for a while... I got nothing to do today, so I said "ok, I'm coming"
So we reached there around 4:30 pm, as we started roaming around... there was a surprise waiting for me, in one of the stalls I saw Maalik standing, so I went to him and asked him, "Hey ... You didn't pick me up...grrr.." as I said this he was shocked an standing like a rock...so I left him and went to other stalls to have a look at the other products on the display...
Next day, Monday I went for work, I got this email via facebook from Maalik, but I knew he was in the office and I was wondering why is he sending an email while he is next to me... believe me, until I read the first 75% of his email, I didn't understand why is he apologizing and for what? Because, I had no bad feelings about Maalik for not picking me to the exhibition yesterday, I forgot at that end and I didn't take anything serious into my mind... So I realized, my big friend has really felt bad about what had happened yesterday.... wow.. mmm... so i thought of having small game or a play with him... ;-) here is a screen shot of what happened in the FB mail.... ;-)
Before, I sent the last mail, I sent one of my colleagues to check on Maalik, I got the news, Maalik seems to be very upset, so quickly I made a call and said to him... "take it easy friend, I was just playing with you" even after he heard me, he kept apologizing for more than half an hour repeating the same thing in the mail ... LOL, He is a Good Friend :-)
Elephants of Uganda
Beautiful shot,view,scene,animals, whatever you think.... its really fantastic!
Elephants have miles of unbroken savanna to roam inside Uganda's Queen Elizabeth Park, where their numbers total 2,500, a dramatic rise after heavy poaching in the 1980s. Outside the preserve villagers kill elephants that trample and eat crops, though attacks have diminished with the digging of trenches to protect fields from wild trespassers.
In the picture to the right, is an ad of the IBM 5100 taken from a November 1975 issue of Scientific America.
"ENTRIES FOR THE MONTHLY SUPER DRAW ON YOUR RELOAD OF RS. 100.00 SIMPLY DIAL #107# TO CHECK YOUR TOTAL WINNING CHANCES"
Have anyone read a message like this? I’ve got 2 mobiles, one is prepaid and the other one is postpaid, I think most of the prepaid users must have got this message after a reload; I used to delete these messages where I used to completely ignore them, yesterday after Isha prayers I had some free time; so thought of sitting in the masjid for little while…so I took little rest while leaning on the masjid wall, my mobile in the pocket started vibrating, I took my mobile and found adaderana news alert,
